Sometimes it's good to meet new people. New creative people, who work in silence, go their own way and create their own path.

Well,...do meet: Les Deux.

Les Deux are two designers, one female and one male, each from a different background and interest working together as a team.

Joele Huybrechts is a jewelry designer and the heart of Les Deux. Dimi De Cooman, her partner, man and best friend, is the visual designer as well as the storyteller of Les Deux.

Together they make wearable stories.

Every collection is designed, made and visualized through a storytelling theme, the perfect way for them to put their ideas into practice, and the ideal opportunity for their fans to become part the story.

This 100% Belgian jewelry brand celebrates it's 10 anniversary and to honor that, they bring an exclusive, limited series of 'combination' rings. 9 'memory' rings, created out of archive pieces of their 10 year collaboration. Each piece consists in at least 4 rings from previous collections and becomes a new piece for the future. All rings have woman's names, and corresponding characters. What about Bettie, with her flamboyant and burlesque past, or Audrey a true femme fatale?

...The 'Kate'.

No worries, there WILL be a 10 th ring. 
I was asked to design/compose 'The Kate' a few weeks ago. 
I know...

I have the entire 'archive' of Les Deux to select from, to make 'my' ring, the Nr°10 in the 'Memory' collection. I'm excited and looking forward to it.

Next week I'll start by visiting their ateliers and make the first selection. Follow this posts to see how 'The Kate' will be  created.
